The Power of Pentecost Series 910 – The 50-day Easter Season concludes with the Solemnity of Pentecost. The Spirit has been at work during the 40 days of Lent and the 50 days of Easter. During this feast day, we celebrate the abundance and grace that is God’s Spirit. Then, we celebrate the Solemnity of Trinity Sunday. All of us are invited to share in a depth relationship with each person of the Trinity.
This three-part mini-series includes:
1) The Power of Pentecost: When the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles they experienced power and abundance. God fills us with his same Spirit over and over again. Because of the Holy Spirit, we can be changed and illumined.
2) Affinity with the Trinity: The Trinity is not a mystery to be solved, but a relationship to be entered into. God is Father, Son, and Spirit. As we focus on each person of the Trinity in prayer we will grow in intimacy and fullness of relationship with God.
3) Eucharistic Revival: The US Bishops have called for a Eucharistic Revival. At Mass, we are fed with the Word and Eucharist. Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus. When we receive Jesus we are filled with grace and want to Go and share him with others.
