Thursday:I am at our residence in Houston. Chilly start. Warming. I have eye doctor appointment this am. It was almost a year ago I had cataract surgery. Love my vision! I'm working on new scripts for my filming in May. I have written two talks thus far: About the Gospels of Mark and Matthew. Next up: Luke. I study, pray and write.
Good news: I will preach the EWTN Mass on Mother's day: Sunday May 14th. Two days after I will be interviewed by COO Doug Keck about my book: The Sacred Quest. I will also meet with executives. In the meantime, a Blessed Lenten journey to you all. Even if a mother could forget the child of her womb, at her breast, God will NOT forget you!

March 4-8: I preached a parish mission in Tequesta, FL. in early March. Mission accomplished! God lavished his grace upon us the whole retreat and all of us were filled with God's love. The people were enthusiastic, responsive and very encouraging to me personally. This was my second time here and I have even more fond memories now. I met so many people. Sold six boxes of books! Thank you for your prayers. Weather is outstanding here in Florida. Here is a picture the crucifix given to the parish by Perry Como who was a parishioner here on behalf of his wife Roselle.
God's Favor! Sundays at 7:30 am ET my program now airs on the FE (Family Entertainment) Network. This secular network will enable me to reach out to more types of people than strictly religious ones. This was a God-incidence how it all happened. In addition: TBN inspire: Sundays at 5:30 pm ET. Also, as I think you know: EWTN Sundays 6:30 am ET premiered the first week of Lent! The 40 + day journey of Lent is in full swing. See my explanation: LENT My book will help: LENT Have a heart to heart talk with yourself. What needs to change in me? Concentrate on the one main area: Sugar? iPhones? FB? Computers? Addiction? Habitual sin? TV? Withholding forgiveness? Concentrate on one area to begin and surrender this to God trusting in his grace to help you change. As Lent goes on, the rhythm will change and new things will surface, but for now, one thing at a time. Be serious and experience a life-changing Lent. Be motivated by your love for God as well as a healthy love of self.
