Monday May 20th:

Today I fly back to Houston from Sacramento on the noon flight. Lovely day here, sunny/cool. I'll miss California and all the good things that happened on this mission trip.

We now enter Ordinary Time. Read my reflection at: Ordinary. Our times are in God's hands. We have received the Spirit of Pentecost to guide us in our walk. God touch you and bless you as we follow Jesus.

Mission accomplished at St. Anthony's in Fresno! Wed. night we all heard about and received the Holy Spirit as we await Pentecost on Sunday. What a gracious reception I received from the people after! I'll never forget the people in Fresno. Wow.

The two pictures below were taken at the mission. Top: Main Sanctuary about 500 per night. Bottom: Guadalupe chapel about 250 each morning.

My book "Rise!" is now finished and nearing editing completion. Those of you on my mailing list will be getting a letter soon.
